A new way for consumers to connect with distilleries across Alberta.
What is the Craft Spirits Guide of Alberta? Well, we're a group of friends who love trying new things and are into craft cocktail culture. We noticed there wasn't an easy way to discover all of the distilleries in Alberta, and to see what they have to offer. So we thought we would take on the challenge ourselves and create a space for others to locate and learn about this emerging industry, and to have a bit of fun along the way.
So lets get right into it; Here is what you will be able to find on our site.
Distillery Directory
In the Distillery Directory, you'll find a listing with all of Alberta based distilleries that we could find. When you dive into any particular distillery, you'll find a summery on what they are all about, a link to their site and a google maps link so you can head on over.
Additionally, we'll also list the features of said distillery; do they offer tours? do they have a dining room to grab a quick bite? is there a patio to chill on with your favorite drinks? can you bring your dog? You can find out all this and more by checking them out by visiting the Distillery Directory.
Distillery Map
Okay so you and your buddies, or girlfriends, are heading out and looking to grab a drink, but you want something something different than <insert generic chain restaurant>, so you open your phone (or computer if you're old like us) and go to the our map to find the closest Alberta distillery that serves drinks. If you want to make sure they're open, or know if they're playing the Oilers vs. Calgary, you'll be able to give them a call or check out there profile all from the same place.
Additionally, if you're just looking to pickup a bottle from your favorite Alberta distillery, we are partnering with liquor retailers across the province and are working on getting them added to the map as well so you will always know where to find your favorite spirit, whatever you may be into. Events Page
Interested in knowing which distilleries are hosting special events? Or do you want to know where the next spirits festival is taking place, then check out the Events Calendar. Here you will find events at various locations across the province. Click the link to learn more about the event and where/how to buy tickets if applicable.
