BRIDGING TRADITION WITH INNOVATION
Jacques & Daniel first met in 2016, at a distilling workshop in the Okanagan. It was their passion for making spirits, attention to craftsmanship, and a desire to take traditional spirits and experiences to another level that laid the foundation for Bridgeland Distillery. It was impossible to deny fate with names like Jacques and Daniel and no accident that the distillery’s focus is on Brandy, Whisky, and Eau de Vie’s highlighting our origins and heritage.
The location of the distillery is rooted in the community of Bridgeland-Riverside with over 100 years of history rich in culture and a sense of community. The distillery provides a unique working and entertaining venue connecting people with an undeniable cooperative spirit and a desire to celebrate.
Their logo depicts the Reconciliation Bridge, a through truss bridge and one of the oldest in Calgary. It spans the Bow River and has connected generations of people in and out of Downtown Calgary. It is fitting that they too are connecting generations of people by bridging tradition with innovation in the spirits we produce.

Distillery Experience
Let the gang at Bridgeland take you on a tour of their facility with a great explanation of the Brandy, Whisky and Grappa making process, followed by a tasting of 3 products of your choice. They will tell you how and why Bridgeland Distillery celebrates Tradition, Innovation and Terroir!
They are also part of the Artisans at Work network! The Artisans at Work experience means discovering a trade or a practice that is rooted in traditional know-how that has endured and evolved over time. It is to meet and learn from a passionate artisan. It is to enjoy an enriching and authentic experience. In addition to offering a unique experience, the artisans in the network produce and market products. Visitors have the opportunity to enhance their experience by purchasing local products made at the distillery.
